I recently jailbreak my Iphone using GreenPois0n which is a software to jailbreak your Iphone, this allows you to install applications and much more.
The process was pretty easy just download the GreenPosion Application and follow the instructions after running the applications, it tells you what to do on each step and it took around 20 mins for me to jailbreak.
After jailbreak you need to install cydia application which is an application like Apple store but have completely different functioning.
