You can download and use nook for your pc and laptop, download and read books in an organized way. This application is absolutely free.
I already installed this in my laptop and I am very impressed with the application, If you are looking to buy a book then you simply click on shop tab in the applications which takes you to Barnes and Nobles website with several books on sale. You select the category and search for your book. Then you can download it and it will appear in your nook pc application.
Some books are available for free and some are available in sample copies in which you get to read some part of that ebook to get an overview.
